Unsettling News
Today, I received unsettling news: my instagram is disabled. That account was created in 2016, and has massively recorded my moments, thoughts, and relationships ever since. Within a split second, everything is gone. When erasing our account, they don't even give back our data. They accused me as a violator of their community guidelines without bothering to give some explanation. And that's it, they swat my genuine and very personal account like a bug.
When I delved into the internet for solutions, I found an interesting remark on someone's blog.
"You can file this, but it is not likely that you will be answered by a real person. Instagram community encompasses millions of people worldwide with averagely a few hundred thousands of complains filed everyday. To answer them, it really requires a nation's army force."
Even after being a loyal user for 8 years, when there is one mistake, from their side, I don't even get to appeal. The fate of my account is at the hands of some dull, cold, and stiff bots.
I really need to write something more comprehensive about this, but later lah. Let's hope I got my account back.
At least, there's a good side of this. I am thinking to spend more time here than there, even when it is back. It is less noisy and distracting here. In a place like this, I can really use writing as theraphy.
